AIRMO builds on its Luxembourg presence through Fit 4 Scale

October 14, 2026
Luxembourg is an important part of AIRMO’s international footprint. Through its participation in Fit 4 Scale, AIRMO is building on this presence and engaging with the country’s innovation ecosystem as it expands its methane monitoring business.
Developed by Luxinnovation and Luxembourg’s Ministry of the Economy, Fit 4 Scale supports companies that have established product-market fit and are preparing for further international expansion.

Practical support for scaling internationally
The programme connects participating companies with experienced entrepreneurs, technical experts and investors. Its support includes individual mentoring, guidance on international expansion and capital access, and workshops covering sales, finance and team leadership.
For AIRMO, these areas are closely connected to its next stage of development. Expanding into new markets requires decisions about customer priorities, commercial operations and team structure alongside continued investment in technology.
Participation in Fit 4 Scale provides access to expertise and exchanges with other founders facing similar challenges.
Growing a business alongside the technology
AIRMO already conducts commercial methane monitoring campaigns using aircraft and drones across Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. At MET Storage Reckrod in Germany, the company completed a drone survey and reconciled site-level emissions measurements with the operator’s existing component-level data. TotalEnergies has also supported AIRMO’s research and development at its TADI facility.
Alongside these activities, AIRMO is preparing its first satellite mission with EnduroSat, with a launch targeted for 2027. The mission builds on operational experience gained through airborne campaigns to extend AIRMO’s methane monitoring capabilities into orbit.
AIRMO’s presence in Luxembourg is part of the company’s international operations. Participation in Fit 4 Scale complements this presence with access to mentoring, specialist expertise and networks that support further commercial expansion.
Part of Luxembourg’s scaleup community

AIRMO participates in Fit 4 Scale alongside Financial Navigator, Partao, Kidola and ClimateCamp. The programme brings these companies together around shared questions of international expansion, hiring and financing.
AIRMO thanks Luxinnovation, the Ministry of the Economy and the Fit 4 Scale mentors for their support.
