🚀 About AIRMO

AIRMO is a European climate-tech company using space and airborne technologies to monitor greenhouse gas emissions globally. Our instruments — combining LiDAR and hyperspectral imaging — detect and quantify methane and CO₂ emissions from industrial sites, pipelines, and national infrastructure.

We’re building a global monitoring system from ground to space, helping energy companies, governments, and investors take real action on climate impact.

Role: We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to continue developing the frontend of AIRMO’s Global Insights Platform, AIRMO’s greenhouse gas emissions intelligence platform. You will help us develop a modern, scalable frontend stack, building an intuitive and responsive user experience for environmental analytics customers across the globe. This role offers the opportunity to grow, shape the product, and contribute to meaningful climate impact through technology.

💡 What You’ll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and improve the frontend of our Global Insights platform
  • Work closely with backend, product, and data teams to turn complex geospatial and emissions data into clear and actionable visualizations
  • Implement clean UI components, dashboards, and user workflows for data exploration
  • Ensure a smooth user experience across browsers and devices
  • Write clean, maintainable code with version control on GitHub
  • Deploy and maintain frontend services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Collaborate with the team in an agile environment and contribute to product discussions, UX improvements, and technical decisions

🧩 What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 1 year of experience in frontend development
  • Solid experience with JavaScript and at least one modern framework (e.g. React, Angular) — React preferred)
  • Understanding of UI/UX fundamentals and component-based design
  • Experience with APIs, responsive layouts, and dashboard-style applications
  • Working knowledge of Git/GitHub
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and take ownership of a core product area
  • Comfortable collaborating with teams using Python-based backends (Python, NumPy, etc.)

🧩 Nice to have

  • GCP (or other cloud platforms)
  • Data visualization libraries
  • Geo or Earth Observation data

✨ What We Offer

  • A chance to shape how climate and space technology is communicated globally
  • Direct exposure to founders, investors, and international customers
  • Flexible working hours and hybrid setup
  • A mission-driven, curious, and slightly space-obsessed team
