The Role
This is a full‑time role for a Business Development & Partnerships Associate at AIRMO. The role involves tasks such as lead generation, market research, business case development and partnership building. You will work to identify new opportunities, conduct market analysis, and support customer and partner interactions, with a particular focus on international environmental and climate‑related organisations and networks.
Your Responsibilities
You will be involved in a wide range of activities that are critical to the success of the company. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights in climate‑tech, energy and sustainability markets.
- Generating and qualifying leads to support the sales pipeline (operators, regulators, institutional clients and investors).
- Assisting in the development of business cases and strategies for new initiatives and new regions.
- Supporting customer interactions and building relationships with potential clients through calls, meetings and follow‑ups.
- Collaborating with the team to develop marketing materials and presentations.
- Maintaining and updating CRM software to track leads and opportunities.
- Building and managing a pipeline of industry companies, NGOs, international organisations, climate funds and environmental networks working on methane and climate mitigation.
- Mapping and developing relationships with key stakeholders, including ministries, regulators, IFIs and local NGOs.
- Identifying joint projects and programmes where AIRMO data and solutions can support MRV, policy implementation and climate‑finance projects.
- Representing AIRMO at international climate and environmental events, building a strong network across global climate actors and regional platforms.
What You Should Bring to AIRMO
The ideal candidate will have:
- Analytical skills and strong market research capabilities.
- Strong communication and customer‑facing skills, comfortable with outreach and relationship‑building.
- Experience in lead generation and developing B2B or institutional partnerships.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, international environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Background in Sustainable Business or related fields.
- Understanding the space / Earth observation industry is a plus.
- Experience and a strong network in climate tech, NGOs, and international climate‑focused organisations.
